Only this time it was based on the subject of Ghost Towns located in all parts of the world. Of course this fascinated me considering my curiosity of the unknown like I would think most people are and I found it a bit startling after I started to explore. First off the number of abandoned areas in the world are far more than I expected. Secondly they seem to be the victim of the either some sort of natural disaster, coal mining gone wrong or economic issue. I also found it fascinating how fast and easily an area can be abandoned due to migration and there are areas in the states that prove that theory correct even if it were to something like an emergency evacuation.
There is one town near area 51 that is startling to explore which seems relatively passable as livable area but it’s completely deserted for some apparent reason. There are modern day cars, mobile homes, stores (which are closed) and even a number of abandoned one story houses. It seems like some place you wouldn't want to walk around at with the fear of something jumping out at you from any corner. Hell there was even a video of a person getting free gas from a gas station that was unsupervised with prices displayed at around $3 per gallon. An example of how long that place must have been unoccupied.
- on video of course -
Could you find the courage to seek out such unknown places and would you dare explore them in person?
