No one in the world would expect that a house hold name like google would be changed for the sake of implementing a new vision. But this play could be considered due to the unstoppable rise of the mobile market which the company has struggled to adapt to. Still there are many risks in re-branding especially when the trade off may lead to giving up one of the most popular words in the world someday. How this will affect the online community and services provided is still not clear. But one thing is for certain and it’s the fact that users are not pleased with a re-dub named - Alphabet.
It seems Alphabet is just something in the works in regards of company involvement. But hopefully this won’t become the new name they are getting behind. It’s rumored that google plus may go under after the company accepted its fate as a failed concept. Hopefully, this will lead to improvement despite the dramatic move to start fresh. It’s usually the approach when rebuilding and seeking innovative advancements are required. Sadly, there are some things to consider for users who are forced to deal with these changes and that involves the potential of loss.
Loss of google plus connections, server access and delicate information that this platform has been known to collect for the past decade. Under a new name the transition could be faulty in terms of what could be going under with its original title. Even though I’m sure the last thing a new company trying to get off its feet needs is the issues of its remnant’s.
With that settled I guess the million dollar question now is, what will you being Alphabeting?
